1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Business Readiness Hub platform. The platform is operated by Business Readiness Hub (Registration number available on request) of available on written request via email. By using the platform you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Account registration and security
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must promptly inform us of any suspected unauthorised access.
4. User responsibilities and content
You are responsible for the accuracy of the business, assessment and request information you provide. You retain ownership of the information you submit and grant us a non-exclusive licence to process that information so we can provide the services you request through the platform.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or other users' data.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
- Reverse engineer or scrape the platform other than as permitted by law.
6. Intellectual property
All platform content, branding, layouts, methodologies and code remain the property of Business Readiness Hub or its licensors. You retain ownership of the business and assessment information you provide.
7. Assessment methodology, reports and action plans
Readiness scores are calculated automatically from the answers you provide, using a weighted scoring method across the platform's readiness categories. Reports and action plans are generated automatically from these answers and are provided for your informational use.
8. Assistance requests and funding-support requests
You may submit assistance requests and, where eligible, funding-support requests. Submitting a request does not create a binding obligation on Business Readiness Hub to provide any specific outcome. Any assistance provided may be subject to separate fees and terms which will be communicated to you before those services are provided.
9. Third-party services
The platform relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication and email delivery. Their availability and terms may affect the platform.
10. Platform availability, changes and suspension
We aim to make the platform available on a best-efforts basis. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features from time to time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
11. Account deactivation and reactivation
You may deactivate your account at any time from Settings. Deactivation pauses your platform access. Your business profile, assessments, scores, reports, action plan and request history are preserved so that you may return and reactivate the account. When you sign in after deactivation you will be directed to the reactivation screen and, if the Terms of Use or Privacy Notice have changed, you will need to accept the latest version to continue.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Readiness Hubwill not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, funding, tenders, investment or supplier appointments arising from your use of the platform.
13. No guarantee of outcomes
- We do not guarantee that you will receive funding.
- We do not guarantee that you will be awarded any tender.
- We do not guarantee that you will receive investment.
- We do not guarantee that you will be appointed as a supplier.
- Readiness scores are informational assessments only.
14. No professional advice
Business Readiness Hub does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice. Content on the platform is for general informational purposes only. Consult a suitably qualified professional before making decisions that may have legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial implications.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute before initiating formal legal proceedings.
